These drains are being put into place under the slab. They will take water from the roof into the storm drain.

The new sewer drain going toward Main Street. We are hoping this one works a lot better than the old one they ripped out!

The trench in Main Street where the new water service is being supplied from the Post Office side of the Street. The contractor will continue down Thaxter with the pipe and then into the building.

The Library Building Committee cordially invites the public to a beam signing ceremony on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 from noon to 1:00 PM on the front lawn of the library.

Sign the ceremonial last beam just before it is placed in the building!

Book Sale -- Save the Date!

Saturday, June 11 from 9 to 3 at St. John's Church, 80 Mt. Auburn Street

The Friends of the Library are hosting a giant book sale to benefit the building fund! The sale will be held outdoors in the parking lot or inside the hall if it rains.

The prices are great and those fashionable "WFPL BUILD IT!" wristbands will also be available to purchase at $3 each or 2 for $5. It's a great cause, so check it out!
